... I Didn't Know 


You were right! When I said "I love you", your response after what felt like everlasting silence was "You don't know me".
I thought I knew better! I felt it! Not only in my heart, but in the deepest depths of my soul! I knew we were meant to be, better than I knew my eyes are brown! But you were right! I didn't and couldn't see past the veil. I didn't... till the end.
